However, their love story came to a halt when Robert, who was already diagnosed with cancer, passed away just a month after their wedding.

Ellen Pierson’s husband, Robert Kardashian, died after only six weeks after their marriage:

Famous American attorney Robert Kardashian died on September 30, 2003, only six weeks after Ellen and Rob married. Robert died of esophageal cancer after being diagnosed only eight weeks prior, at the age of 59. He got famous after advocating for O.J. Simpson in the infamous murder trial, also known as the trial of the century. Following the death of Robert Kardashian, Simpson was beyond himself and shocked to his core.

He said to the press, “It’s shocking when a friend close to you passes away.” Robert Kardashian was popularly referred to Bobby by Simpson, who said he was devastated with his death and that Rob was there with him when he needed him the most.

After almost a decade of Robert Kardashian’s death, his ex-wife Kris Jenner discussed the experience of Robert getting diagnosed with cancer. Claimed that Khloe Kardashian is not Robert’s biological daughter:

Not just Ellen Pierson but Robert Kardashian’s second wife, Jan Ashley, both appeared in an interview in January 2012, in which they revealed that Robert isn’t the biological father of Khloe Kardashian. Both his ex-wives confirmed that Robert doubted being the father of Khloe Kardashian during the last few years of his life. Jan Ashley even went live saying that Robert told her Khloe is a Kardashian after they got married.

Joining her, Ellen Pierson said that Khloe used to bring it up a lot of times that she doesn’t look anything like the rest of them. She was very tall, had a different face shape, curly hair, and didn’t resemble any of the other three girls, including Jenner and Kardashian. She continued saying that Robert even told her that he wasn’t even sleeping with Kris during the time Khloe was conceived. She ended by saying that Robert never considered going for a DNA test since he loved Khloe very much.

Meanwhile, they both said that Robert knew Kris cheated a lot on him while they were still married. Everybody thought this was simply a controversy, but Kris Jenner admitted cheating on Robert Kardashian in her book: Kris Jenner and All things Kardashian.

Ellen Pierson even filed for bankruptcy:

A turning point in Ellen Pierson biography came after Robert Kardashian’s death when she filed for bankruptcy. Since his husband died in 2003, she went through hard financial times, and then in 2010, she was compelled to file for Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
